The detection software adopts modular design that enables the surface inspection system to be set to accommodate the web width, production speed and defect size (resolution) of objects being inspected.
Online Setup
This module performs data setting and adjustment for the quality inspection of products in continuous webs. It configures several settings of camera sensor, vision system and various products to be inspected.
Online Inspector
This unit is mainly applied to conduct online production monitoring and data analysis, allowing the inspection system to automatically detect periodic defects and deliver trend analysis of production. Through the software running on a surface inspection device, the inspection system can obtain data by means of smart cameras thereby completing processes of data collection, analysis, storage and display. It also allows user to easily check the detection results and other associated occurrences in real time.
Remote Inspector
The unit enables user to access real-time and historical data via a remote computer at any time, without compromising routine inspection.
Data Analysis
The data coming from surface inspection system is stored in the database for defects which can be conveniently tracked, imported and exported by user at any time. The database is a comprehensive solution for storing defects with images, positions and other defect features.
Re-winder Controller
With the connection between the inspection system and the computer installed at the rewinder, the inspection data of each roll can be directly called during the production process. After the defects have been selected, the rewinder can be directly controlled to stop at the location of the detected defects and the inspection system prompts the defect types and positions through the PLC communication. A fully automatic marking system allows operator to address and deal with the defects in an efficiently and timely manner.
